Canzona Technologies Mentoring

 What Is Mentoring?

Some skills are rarely taught in a traditional engineering curriculum, and are either learned on the job from more experienced colleagues, or through trial and error. Inexperience in project planning, architecture, testing and debugging often results in missed deadlines and ballooning budgets. Inheriting a poorly documented design can be a daunting task and overlooked details can lead to mysterious problems after a seemingly minor change. Sometimes just having a sounding-board leads to better decisions. If you or your staff could benefit from a new perspective, we offer friendly mentoring for individuals or entire departments. With over 25 years experience, we've probably already solved problems similar to yours. When appropriate, we even have fun team-building activities.

Mentoring works best when employees feel free to discuss problems or concerns without wondering what their supervisor might think. Supervisors who want to know "how it went", should ask their employees.
